THE FIRM
Alpen, funded in 1964, is the fruit of the will and entrepreneurial vision of the Gianola brothers, skilled and experienced craftsmen specialized in the production of scissors and manicure items.
The company is located in Premana, a small village in the mountains of Lombardy, which is world famous for its century old, high quality, production of scissors and blades. This manufacturing tradition is continued in our times thanks to the experience and know-how accumulated and passed on, through several generations of skilled craftsmen.
The founder’s drive to create products of very high quality was rewarded very quickly by a rapidly expanding customer base on the italian market; the Gianola brothers continued to higher their quality standards and optimized production cycles that encompass a great deal of handwork paired with the use of high-tech machineries, with the goal to obtain products that are prefect in every detail.
The perfect mix of craftmanship and technology has allowed Alpen to attain quickly a solid reputation on the international markets, where customers appreciate the high quality of the products that substantiate itself in the careful selection of the best materials that through the workmanship of skilled craftsmen are turned into high quality and precious products.
In its second generation, with Mauro and Pietro Gianola, Alpen has broaden its range to more than 500 items, among which are scissors, manicure and pedicure sets, nail files, and tweezers. Every item is manufactured with the same passion and care for quality that characterize the company since its foundation. The goal is to offer its customers italian products that feature quality and durability as key assets.
